Default Indemnity Bond to the Government of India

INDIA

I have signed an Indemnity Bond to the President of India on 12/06/09 for my friend, so that she could apply for her extension of visa.

In the meantime our relationship has soured.I have reason to believe that she could use this document to obtain maintenance from me.
Is this possible?
1. could she approach the Government of India for maintenance and they would claim it from me?
2. could she approach me directly for maintenance? And if yes, up to which amount(she as a foreigner has a quite high standard of living)?
3. could she approach the court directly for maintenance with this document, and if yes, the court in Pune or in Goa (both places are mentioned in the Indemnity Bond), where I am residing right now, or the court in Srinagar (I will be returning to Kashmir in a few days)?

Unfortunately yes you could be liable.

Of course you can sue her for any amounts you have to pay.

Never assume those kinds of responsibilities if you don't accept the real risk of having to pay.

Thank you for your fast reply.
Can you please go a bit more into details?
1. can she approach me directly through a court?
2. How could I sue her for the amounts I have to pay when in the first place I have taken on the responsibility
to pay for her?

Thank you
