I co-signed for a car loan
In 2008 I SUPPOSEDLY co-signed for a car loan for my daughter. This past Monday, the bank called me because my daughter was 18 days late on her payment. At that time I was informed that I was not a co-signer, but was mainly responsible for the loan. At the time of the sell, the salesman (asked if I would be a CO-SIGNER), not the main loanee. Is the non-disclosure of all information, or the salespeople not being totally forth coming with information illegal.

co-signers and main signers have the same responsibility--they both have to pay and both can be sued at once if any payment is late
