A vehicle belonging to a Native American who resides on a reservation cannot be repossessed if 60% or more has been paid on the balance of the loan. Relinquishment or repossession of any property belonging to a NA on reservation land, has to be voluntarily submitted in written form by the purchaser or by an order from the Tribal Court. Tribal Codes will vary slightly, but the basic codes apply on all NA reservations. Fore more info click the link below...

Our bank uses a great repossession company in Idaho. They have helped us a lot when it comes to getting repossessions done on a NA reservation. They have been able to get all of our debtors to either turn there collateral in or they have negotiated the release of it. The agencies name it Grim Repo and they are in Idahofalls Idaho and Boise Idaho.
