Unemployment in Kansas: Got fired from job for being sick
State of Kansas. Got fired from job for being sick, had doc notes and called to say i wouldnt be there everyday... unemployment is mess n with me i have to wait the dec 9th for them to call me and tell them my side of the story to see if i get benefits...so my? Is can i get them a lawyer here said i could then someoneelse said i couldnt... thanks

What do you mean? Can you have a lawyer advise you and be involved? Yes you can though he might not be able to be at the first hearing with you in some cases. |

sorry my ? is can i get the benefits if i was fired from being sick,i had doc notes..being sick and the doc telling you to stay home isnt miscondut right??
