Basically I was expelled from River Valley Middle School. I was told that I would not be admitted into the regular high school; instead I had to be transitioned into that school from the alternative school. During the transitional process,, I was suspended for three days; however, on the day I was supposed to return to school, the principal and counselor of the alternative school showed up to my house 30 minutes before school to telll me they were withdrawing me from the regular high school back to alternative school, and that because I was still in the transitional period, they did not have to follow the school corporation disciplinary guidelines or conduct an expullsion meeting. I just wanted to know if I have any legal grounds to fight this and be readmitted into my regular high school.
PS this took place in Indiana |
