From Florida. I donated money to the ACS for the making strides event held today in Dade city. I was on a team to walk the walk as a participant. I donated money to a lady who I knew personally and she took me to court for stalking her since I donated the money within 3 hrs of the time she posted her page. the judge didn't accept her position he dismissed the case. Unproven he said. 3 months later the ACS without an apparent reason changed my name from jerry to anonymous without my consent. I complained and tried for 5 days to find out who did that to me and why did they do it. They sent me a certified letter booting from the event and told me I could not even watch it. they had security guards ready to escort me out. They have refunded the money I donated to the lady's campaign. They have told me that the money donated in my behalf will also be refunded. They still stonewall me over the question of who and why the name change. They provoked me then when I complained and asked why, they reprised me by booting me from the event and forbid me to watch it even though I had donated for 5 other ladies participation. They have not offered to return that money. They have obviously conspired to act as some kind of appellate authority over the judge's order. The damage cannot be repaired I was walking in memory of my deceased mother who died 2 years ago from Breast cancer. The walk was to be today Saturday 25th of October 2008. They seek donations I gave one the lady cries stalker they plot to provoke me into complaining then retalliate by booting me? I want 20 million $ punitive damages. its kind of like you smack the butt of a 3 year old for no reason he cries then you spank him for crying. What can be done to these rotten apples?????

There are other agencies you can donate to, and legally they dont have to accept your contribution.

For those that wonder about the history. Prior to the court appearance I had not seen her for over 2 years. She is the only person on earth that I know personally that has had or does still have cancer. When I saw her 2 years ago on my way to a work site i had stopped in at a grocery store, it was on the way. I live 10 miles from the store but as I said it was on the way to where I was going not out of the way. I think she has mental problems in that she seems paranoid to me. but I am not a Dr. it is just my humble opinion. any way I saw her name and story on the page and donated. I had no idea that she had a dislike for me to the point of trying to jail me. All I did was donate money to the Cancer people in her behalf. thats it. They waited 3 months then changed my name and I blew my stack. They refunded the money within days of my complaining to them. Now if they had a real reason to do that they surely would not have given that money back $500.00. I feel that they inflamed me so that they could boot me out. Why or Who they won't tell me. If it is right why not tell me who and why??There are principles here. it is unethical for them to do that. I will donate the cash to another organization and never again to them. I think that they don't care They lost 1200 dollars plus future donations. All because they wanted to make me anonymous the ? is why and who? the option to run a private campaign was there only a click away.
