Hello,
Well, I live in canada... my ex went to jail for six months, I was forced to give away his purebred German Shepherds because none of his friends would come and get them, and the only way the people I gave them to would take them was if I signed the registration over to them.......I did.....I forged my ex's signature and gave them the dogs. Now that my ex is out of jail he plans to press charges against me..........even though he abandoned the dogs and gave me no choice but to find a good home for them.........Can anyone tell what will or could happen to me if he does decide to go through with charging me Thanks a bunch |

Well that technically is a crime but frankly I am not sure the Crown will really pursue that. You could be required to pay him for any loss --minus costs you incurred while the dogs were with you.
