Florida: A friend got a loan and bought a manufactured home in Florida from an individual. The home is over 10 years old and sits on rented property. The landlord of the property is having her evicted because he wants to sell the land. She has been told that in Florida, you cannot move and set up a mobile home that is over 10 years old. Is that true?
Also, she has been told that if she walks off and leaves the home and quits making payments on it, she could possibly have her wages garnished to pay for the loan. Is that true? |
