employment assistance
20 March suspended after informal meeting about expenses, was in hospital day after, resigned and left 17 may, am still off sick, my boss whom I had been having 4 year affair "encouraged" mr to go, they are still chasing me to respond to the one letter they sent me during my notice period, do I have to reply ? I am worried now I am getting slighlty better about all this, why did they let me go if they wanted me to answer questions ? Can they bring the police in ? I don't know what to do for best please help

If the questions they are asking you are concerning the period you served them or the issues during your period of service then you are bound to answer. Whether they can bring the police or not will depend on the seriousness of the matter. If the Letter doesn't talks about any issue relating to your period of service then ignore it.
