Default Wrongful arrest

I am from Trinidad i was wronfully arrested and i wasn't given a reason why i was detained. I don't have a criminal record and i was being accused of a crime i have no knowledge about. i was detained for approximately 72 hours. during this period i missed three of my exams. I made a request through a lawyer based on what i was detained. it has been three months and my lawyers got no reply.is there another method that i can get this information

The lawyer can ask the court to demand that all information relative to your charges be made available.

The judge can order it if he wishes.

World Law's lawyers could also probably help resolve this if need be. You may email them on the home page.

Was the case dismissed or dropped? The court should have a docket record of your case. You can sue the police station, the city and the county in which this occured. But act quickly on the county because I think the time limit is different with them, and they have the big money. Talk with a civil rights lawyer. He might take your case on contingency.
