borrowed money got into mess

Borrowed 4000/- rupees from two guys.They asked to help them to get a job in lieu of the money but couldn't find job of there liking. Ready to return the amount but now they are being nasty . There is no written document of the money taken or given.
They say I took 10,000/- and have to pay 50,000 as compensation .
his uncle is a lawyer and brother in media.They will sue me.
They don't even know my details where abouts. I have been to their residence. I am fair and honest on my part . I listen to there nonsense abusive langauge and still told them If they want take the genuine amount they gave.
They are after my life Calling 30-40 times a day. I could not concentrate on my work also.
They approached my friend and asked him my address or they will bring police to take him to police station and then they will ask themselves now they are harrasing my friend also.
please advice how to get out of this mess.

You should report THEM to the police. That kind of harassment is illegal.

Arrange to pay back what you borrowed asap. And after that, let them sue if they wish. They will not prevail.
