Default What is Considered Employee Theft?

Does anyone know of a law regarding an employee quiting without prior notice and not returning thousands of dollars worth of company property??

That is theft he can be charged.

You must return all company property.

The company can file charges and a police report if they wish.

I just wonder what law it would fall under you know. Like section blah blah blah of the yada yada ya code so that we a letter can be tyed up to persuade the employee to return the property before getting law enfourcement envolved...

That depends on your state.

But your local DA will give you a few citations.
