Default Risk of termination of employmen contract

Im presently on week 7 of my 12 week trial period with a security firm in UK. I was interviewed by an agency on behalf of my employer. I have recently received a letter from the agency saying there is a gap of 2 months in my job history and unless I can show what I did with proof - even though I have explained - my contract will be terminated. What more can I do.
