My kids just found out that their father passed away. They also found out that the lady he was living with told whomever that he had no family but she knew he had children still living. Is this illegal and how can they correct the death certificate?

They may have been entitled to some property by law and if so she would have committed fraud. You could check what happened and if need be go back into court as the certificate and as to any improper actions that she may have taken. |
