Confused car fraud

Just recently I purchased a vehicle and the seller did not inform me that
the vehicle had never been involved in an accident, but after we went to
change the title and register the vehicle in our name the DMV informed us
that the vehicle had failed emission in March. This information was not
disclosed on the Car Fax or by the seller. When we took the vehicle to the
garage this is when they informed us that the vehicle had been in a major
front end accident resulting in major damage. The cost to repair this
vehicle is greater than what it blue books out for. Is there any recourse
to either car fax or the seller due to fraud? I have been able to obtain
documentation from the dealer in which the seller took the vehicle to noting
the damage

Does anyone have a suggestion on what type of lawyer to talk to?

Based on what you say here, you could file suit against them (or at least threaten to do so) in small claims court or in regular court; filing in small claims court is easier and requires no attorney...you could try to collect all of the costs and damages that you suffered due to their behavior... You may also report them to your state attorney general's office.

World law's attorneys could also become directly involved, though they normally do charge a fee for that.

Confused Re: car fraud

Does anyone know when filing a claim in small claims court for misrepresentation (fraud), if the vehicle is unable to drive if that covers the part in which it is the loss incurred?
