EEK! rental damages du to a robbery...help

hello, i'm having a bit of a problem. three months ago our home in which we rent was broken into. all the main entrences were damaged, in result they cannot be used. our house is constantly unlocked, and we have to use the windows or UNLOCKED sliding door to enter and exit. our property manager sayes he is trying to fix them but the land lord says its our fault. she says this because we befriended a girl who knows who the robbers were. she actully set it up. since the break in the damages were not fixed. we have payed rent for three full months, with these damages. our lease is up in 45 days. is it legal to try to with hold the rest of the rent due, or one full months rent? im so comfused, it just doesnt feel right that the landlord can neglect her responsiblities as a home owner. we have been very paitent and now i am tired of reminding her about it.
thank you so much, please just tell me what is the right way to go about this? thank you
