gagging order

can u tell me how i can issue a gagging order on my father in law?
he is using his full real name in magazine stories after contracting hiv
from a woman in thailand who has since died, but is also naming my
husband in the articles without our consent and unfortunately we are
receiving phone calls about it and our children who obviously have the
same surname are getting teased at school. they do not have any
relationship with their grandfather because he didnt keep in contact
with the family when he went to live in thailand and upset alot of the
family with his behaviour. we have spokent to him recently though to ask him
not to use the family name as it is causing our family emotional upset, only to
be told that he intends to keep doing the stories in any magazine that he can.
can we stop him? please advise...its really making our lives inbearable...thanx.

You could try to get a court order but if you are in the USA and what he is saying is factually true, it will be hard to prevail.

You coud try arging the stigma it has created for the kids etc.
