Default Alledged storage

I have contacted a truck terminal that has a truck that was towed by the owner to a mechanic for repair that was never done for pick up and the truck
co owner said that there was storage of $15.00 dollars a day for 365 days due and payable. This truck is in a will to be given to a certain person.
This truck company owner owes the estate $4400 and does not want to pay
that bill so he is messing with me. He does not have anything in writing on the storage and beside he was doing his friend a favor but what he owes the
estate is in writing and he signed it. I want to hae the police go with me to
pick the truck up can he apply storage just out of the blue an expect it to be
paid? This truck company owner is a known crook and I feel he is trying to take advange due to fact that the trucks owner is now deceased.

Help!!
