about guarantee money

dear sir/madam
my friend umesh,he became a guarantee person between some financers and his two friends ,for money 10 lacs on 20 percent interest.after some days these two boys ran away taking money with them,now these financers teasing to my friend for returning the whole amount with 20% interest.he haven't such big amount of money.from some days umesh also lost.then these financers starting teasing his family members.so please u suggest that what umesh's family members can do against the teasing of financers.Are financers can harm umesh's family members from legal point of view.please suggest they are in great problem.

They cannot bother him to the point where they are harassing him.

They have to file in court if they want to try to enforce his obligation. And that will take some time.

File a police report if they unduly harass him.
