Stealing Social Security
Need advice....Have direct deposit...Separated...Husband steals wallet....accesses my checking account...drains over $500...bank says they are not going to replace my money....Is that not illegal? Also...Do I have a chance of putting husband in jail? Am scared of husband...said I would pay dearly if I called law when he took wallet out from my purse in my car...told me everything is communicable property. Is that true?

You can file a police report yes. Unless you file for divorce it is sometimes hard to get the police to intervene on these kinds of issues.
But it was not legal so you certainly may file. |
