Confused common law marriage

I live in Michigan and we have no common law rights. I have been living with my boyfriend for 26 years and we have an 18 year old daughter together. I have worked all my life and raised our daughter. My boyfriend has never worked and because he cannot read or write I helped him obtain disability income and I am his payee. He never could of done it without me. He wants to leave me for someone else after 26 years and I just want the home because I have maintained it and my daughter and grandkids grew up in the home. Do I have any rights of keeping the home and he can have anything else, cash, assests, etc........ Even though no common law marriage in Michigan do I have rights as his payee?

Default Re: common law marriage

How is the home listed on the deed? Is it in his name?

You might still be able to sue on equitable grounds, or an implied or explicit partnership etc.
