My 14 year old daughter\'s volleyball team was to compete on 4/24-4/26 at
the Nationals in Minneapolis. One of the moms reserved a block of rooms at the Radisson. At the time, they made her sign a contract stating that she was personally liable for 80% of the room reservations if we were to cancel. Due to injuries and other unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel because we just did not have enough players. The hotel is holding her feet to the fire still saying that she will be liable for those rooms. Do we have any recourse? Is this a legal contract? It seems shady, as we are not getting anything for it and the hotel was not sold out. |

Doesn't matter if they were sold out or not, in fact that is none of your business. What part of signing a contract is this person unfamiliar with? Pay your bill.
