Unhappy rent house

I am a U student and because the U is quite far from my hometown. Therefore i
decide to rent a room from an agent at this area. After a few months,i found
that my room rate is more expensive than another one that not under the
agent. However,i have signed an one year agreement with the agent, they say
that wheter i stay or leave in this year,i have to pay the rental for the
rest of the months. So,is that any solutions that i can move out from there
without pay for the compensation?
