My question is if you have public utility easement, and it happens to be an appurtenant easement does that give AT&T the right to erect a cross connect box especially when this box is on my property. The easement right away for the utility is 5'. I know they can travel upon, and do work upon, but as far as erecting upon when it sits on my property I'am in thought that they cannot do this. They never notified me about this upcoming project. Please advise

Have a real estate lawyer quickly review your deed. It may very well not be permitted and you could force them to remove it.
