About a month ago I was forced to move into a smaller apartment and had to get rid of my dresser and a desk quickly, so I placed an ad in the classifieds. The first person who called said they would buy them, but that they couldn't pay me until the 14th of March (two weeks later). I said that was ok and took down their phone numbers. It's been a month and they haven't paid. I call everyday and leave voicemails but they've just stopped answering. I'm just curious, is there something that I can do?

I guess you gave them the goods before they paid (big mistake). Take them to small claims. I hope you have something in writing saying they intended to pay that will help. Be even if you dont have it in writing, the classified ad will demonstrate that you intended to sell the items and not give them as a gift. That may help but even if you win in small claims getting the money from them is still going to be a problem.
