I recently found out that there was a warrant for a failure to appear in Idaho for a vicous dog ticket that was supposedly cited to me in 2002. The problem with that is that it was not me and know I am really concerned because I can't go there to clear it up. Also, don't they have to have a signature for something like that especially for a missed court date? I would like to know how to proceed with this and how much money this will cost me. I have lived in Oregon since 1994. I am prepared to settle this but I need to do it from Portland. Is there any advice for me?

Call the DA and explain the situation; they do realize that errors exist...
World Law's lawyers could also probably intervene and help resolve this if need be. You may email them on the home page. |
