Confused Repeat Offender

Can you be called a repeat offender if the two crimes committed are
extremely different in nature, such as auto-theft being the 1st and murder
the 2nd? One being in one state and the other in another state?

Yes you certainly can in many situations.

But that also depends on the context and if for punishment purposes under a statute it may be that the offenses do not apply as two.

Confused Re: Repeat Offender

lets say that auto theft was a parked car and not by force in one state and the murder was in a house with drugs involved in another state, would this be a repeat offense?

Question Re: Repeat Offender

Are there any past case files that can be viewed to the public relating to repeat offenders of different crime natures?
