I read your point with interest today, and in some ways I agree, and in others no so, as i feel the apathy and frustration people feel after being burnt by a scammer, has many people combing the net for references in an empty hope of finding something that will lead them to some kind of closure. Of course, they never find it. However, along the way, they bounce, like flat stones being skimmed across a lake, from site to site, and forum to forum looking for an answer, for a lead on some justice, or even to hear that a scammer got their comeuppance. Crime pays. That's why the scammer does it.
