Usually when a guy is threatening to harm himself they are just doing it to make you feel like the guilty one like you did something wrong. If you cut off contact with him for a while it will show him you are putting your foot down and you are not going to put up with any more abuse he will eventually get the point and stop harassing you. If that does not stop him then you need to report him to a mental hospital where he will get the help he needs
