From the facts it could understand that you were not satisfied with the treatment provided by the doctors who diagnosed you. For the last 3 years you have been suffering from compound fracture. If the facts are true the doctors who have treated you are answerable to medical malpractice. Now your leg got stiffed and even moving become difficult. In these circumstances you can take an opinion from a senior orthopedic and try to know whether the doctor was at fault. You can have a talk with doctor and inform him that you are going to take legal action against him. Normally doctors will try for an amicable settlement. If he is not willing for that then collect all possible evidences and file a suit for medical malpractices. It is better advised that you may consult with a Tort Attorney who can give a proper guidance in this regard.

You must have taken a second opinion from the other doctor and if you think so that doctors have not taken your concern seriously you can file lawsuit against them. I can understand from what you are going through, slightly same situation was happened to my friend, doctors neglected his case and he has to lost his leg.
