Default Hospital Kept Me Against Will...& More

Back in Oct of 06 I was brought by ambulance to a Reno ER where I was intubated. At one point I was choking on the intubation but couldn't get any help. I finally attempted to pull it out myself. 46, and never been that scared of dying in my life -- I even looked up at the clock on the wall and told myself "well, that's it, I'm going to die at 1:30!" They finally rushed in and removed it. I was so p/o'd, that I asked to be released A.M.A. However, they told me that I couldn't go due to I was on a 72 hour hold (long story). I was then admitted to the ICU where I remained with pnumonia for almost 2 weeks. During that time, I asked numerous times when the hell they were going to let me out of there! Well, and despite the 72 hours long elapsed, I wasn't allowed to leave...If you heard the entire story. Does anyone think I might have a case?

It is certainly possible you have a case based on what you say here; you should take a brief description of these events as well as your medical records to an injury attorney and see if the attorney thinks you have a claim; often you need to contact several attorneys to find one to take the case; the review of your case and records is often free and then they will normally take the case on a contingency fee basis if they think you can win; you would pay only if they collect for you...
