Default wrong prescription mg. (taking the wrong doze of blood pressure medicine)

I have been taking the wrong doze of blood pressure medicine for about one year. As a result of chest pains I ended up in the hospital. The nurse realized their mistake in giving me the wrong percription which is a 12yr release when I needed the 24yr release to keep my blood pressure under control. They could not get the chest pain to stop in the hospital so they put a stent in my heart as a result I have huge hospital bills and time off work. Can I sue them for medical and loss wages?
Thanks Don.r

It is certainly possible you have a case based on what you say here; you could take a brief description of these events as well as your medical records to a malpractice attorney and see if the attorney thinks you have a claim; often you need to contact several attorneys to find one to take the case; the review of your case and records is often free or low-cost and then they will normally take the case on a contingency fee basis if they think you can win; you would pay only if they collect for you.
