Thyroid Problem: Do I have a case?
I have been taking synthroid for several years (possibly 10-15). During that time I have never really felt as good as I should. I continue to have symptoms involving tiredness, dry skin, limb pain and weight gain. Over the years, several family practice doctors have treated me for hypothyroidism. Most changes in doctors were due to insurance issues.
When I began seeing Dr. M (the most recent) for my thyroid issue, I mistakenly told him I was taking 150 mcg when in reality it was 125. We tried it anyway, and it was later reduced to 137. This was from April 2006 to September 2006. The end of September 2006, I had a very severe reaction to an antibiotic. Thanksgiving of 2006, I had heart palpations. I called Dr. M |
