Default Limit of time to sue for malpractice or negligence

Is there a limit of time to sue for malpractice or negligence?... my daughter died 11 years ago.

The case happened in New York city.

That is usually too long...two to four years is the max unless you never could have known what happened until now?

I would like to know that myself my son died going on 7 years ago and we had ask for a chest xray the doctor ( If thats what you want to call him) told us no it was not needed he knew he had Acid reflux he ended up dying from Staph pneumonia and an xray would have shown that but they say we have no proof that is true.

Yes it should be properly treated and it will really work so difficult when it comes LVN nursing.

It's been 2yrs since my mother was killed in a hit in run and I wanted to know if i can sue his auto insurance
or can we sue at all for anything please help me I really need to know

Each state has its own statute of limitations on filing suit for injuries. One needs to know the state the incident occurred in to answer this question.
