Dr injected a a botox type product known as Dysport in the levator muscle which resulted in upper lip pstosis, in brief, the upper lip is ''frozen'' so cannot smile, form certain word, or eat correctly. This procedure was done for what is commonly known as bunny lines/scrunch lines, in ''missing'' the correct insertion point, this has caused this paralysis of the upper lip. The effects on lip area, have the potential to last up to 6 months.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am a resident of Hong Kong, and have a meeting with the Dr and Clinic owner Friday Aug 8th to discuss this matter. So rather urgent. my thanks for your assistance, respectfully Sandie |

It is certainly possible you have a case based on what you say here; you should take a brief description of these events as well as your medical records to a malpractice attorney and see if the attorney thinks you have a claim; often you need to contact several attorneys to find one to take the case; the review of your case and records is often free and then they will normally take the case on a contingency fee basis if they think you can win; you would pay only if they collect for you.
