Unhappy Hospital Malpractice

The following is information my sister gave me regarding her husband's death. Does she have a basis for a lawsuit?

BACK ON APRIL 8TH MY HUSBAND GOT UP, SHOWERED, WENT TO STORE FOR PAPER ETC AND CAME HOME. HE FELT FINE. WE DID A BIT OF YARD WORK NOTHING HEAVY OR EXHAUSTING, MOSTLY PICKING UP PAPERS AND DEBREE IN YARD LEFT FROM LONG WINTER. WE SAT DOWN ON DECK, HAD COLD WATER AND ICE AND CHATTED. CAME IN HAD LUNCH, THEN BOTH MADE SUPER TOGETHER. SON CAME HOME WE ATE, AND WE DID DISHES TOGETHER. THEN SON AND HUBBY WENT IN LIVINGROOM TO WATCH BLUE JAYS GAME. HUSBAND BURPED, THOUGHT IT WAS INDIGESTION. IT DID NOT SEEM TO GO AWAY, HE GOT PALE. WALKED A BIT INTO KITCHEN, I LOOKED AT HIM YELLED AT SON TO COME HELP DAD BACK TO LAZYBOY. RUSHED AND CALLED 911. THE AMBULANCE WAS HERE WITHIN 5 MINUTES, ALSO FIRE DEPT PARAMEDICS. THEY STABILIZED HUSBAND THEN RUSHED HIM TO ROUGE VALLEY HOSPITAL. NO BEDS. HE LAYED IN HALL ON STRETCHER WITH PARAMEDICS, OFTEN GOING OVER TO DESK TO SEE ABOUT A BED, SOMETHING. HE LAYED IN HALL IN THE MIDDLE OF A HEART ATTACK FOR OVER 2 LONG HOURS. A DOCTOR FROM HOSPITAL NEVER ONCE CAME TO LOOK AT HIM. IT JUST SEEMED ALL NURSES AROUND WERE WATCHING HIM SLOWLY DYEING. THEY FINALLY FOT A BED IN EMERGENCY-- STILL NO DOCTOR. HUSBAND IN PAIN, GOT SICK. WE WERE ASKED TO LEAVE ROOM WHILE NURSE BROUGHT BED PAN. WITHIN 10 MINUTES WE HEARD CODE BLUE. SON AND I BOTH KNEW IT WAS HUSBAND. WE WERE STOPPED AT DOOR BY NURSE WHO LED US INTO A ROOM ANOUNCING HUSBAND WAS DYEING . THE DOCTOR IS TRYING TO REVIVE HIM. WITHIN 5 MINUTES DOCTOR CAME IN AND ANNOUNCED HUSBAND HAD DIED. THEY HAD NO TIME TO EVEN OPERATE !!!! SON AND I WENT INTO SHOCK COULD NOT BELEIVE THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED. ONLY A DAY LATER DID I REALIZE THAT HE LAYED THEIR HAVING A HEART ATTACK FOR OVER TWO HOURS IN HALL AS NO BEDS, AND NOT A DOCTOR NEAR. JUST PEOPLE WATCHING HIM SLOWLY DYEING. I NEED THIS INVESTIGATED, AND SOME ANSWERS ????

It is certainly possible you have a case based on what you say here; you could take a brief description of these events as well as your medical records to a malpractice attorney and see if the attorney thinks you have a claim; often you need to contact several attorneys to find one to take the case; the review of your case and records is often free and then they will normally take the case on a contingency fee basis if they think you can win; you would pay only if they collect for you.

World law attorneys could also become directly involved -- email them too if you wish.
