Massachusetts' top court on Thursday ruled that the state's judges can't be compelled to disclose the thought process behind decisions they make.
The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court found that while it is essential to hold judges accountable for bias, they must be afforded protection to ensure “that they may act without fear or favor in exercising their constitutional responsibility to be both impartial and independent.” More... |
