Former Barclays chief executive Bob Diamond, the public face of a sprawling scandal involving alleged rigging of global interest rates, has hired New York lawyer Andrew Levander.



Former Barclays CEO Robert Diamond

Andrew Levander, a New York-based partner at law firm Dechert LLP, is known for his representation of high-profile business leaders including former MF Global head John Corzine, Merrill Lynch CEO John Thain and hedge fund manager Ezra Merkin. Mr. Levander has added yet another bold-faced name to his client list with Mr. Diamond.
