Gone but Not Forgotten: Three Battlegrounds Going Forward
The smoke has cleared, the dust has settled. The U.S. Supreme Court has upheld the Affordable Care Act.So now that this drama has played out, where are we left? What developments coming out of Thursday should we still be paying attention to in the weeks and months to come?
The Push to Repeal? Arguably the biggest takeaway from Thursday’s ruling is this: The court is done, for now, with health-care policy. If anyone’s going to strike down the Affordable Care Act, it’s going to be Congress, at the urging of its constituents and with the help of a signature of a new (Republican) president.
