Allen Stanford Judge to (Nearly) Everyone: You Shall Not Speak
It's bad news for the LB and any other publication that's going to be covering the Allen Stanford trial next year: Houston federal judge David Hittner on Thursday ordered a fairly sweeping gag order in the Stanford criminal case.
 According to this piece from CNBC, Judge Hittner was moved to respond after Stanford himself had agreed to give a jailhouse interview to CNBC. Hittner on Thursday said he made the move after he became concerned the jury pool in the upcoming trials might be tainted because of the vast publicity the case has received and is expected to continue getting.
