New North Carolina Texting Laws
Some new laws go into effect Tuesday. One makes it illegal to text while driving. If you are stopped for texting while driving you will face a $100 fine. You are allowed to text if your vehicle is stopped, but it will be illegal to text while your vehicle is moving. More than 50 new North Carolina laws went into effect on Monday.
