The Parsinen Law Firm has agreed to be acquired by national law firm Barnes & Thornburg, the companies announced Monday.
Minneapolis-based Parsinen, founded in 1981, will officially become part of Indianapolis-based Barnes & Thornburg on July 1. The firm has 22 attorneys, including 14 partners. Parsinen’s practice areas include business litigation, commercial real estate, corporate law, employment law, employee and executive benefits, personal legal planning and renewable energy. In a statement, Parsinen Managing Partner Howard Rubin said the firm remained profitable, but increasingly has had to turn away business that doesn’t fall into its core practice areas. Barnes & Thornburg will help fill gaps in areas such as intellectual property, he said. Source: Parsinen Law sold to Indianapolis firm - Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal: |
