Can I sue my landlord for negligence, for the cost of my items stolen?

A UD case? Is your rent not paid? What was the reasoning for this?

I'm not sure if you are the OP or the second poster to this thread. (Another reason why they ask everyone to post their own threads so readers aren't confused).

Whatever you do, dont run your heater, I was having the same problem, and I had to call the electric company to come out, and there were LETHAL levels of carbon monoxide in my home.

All rental units should have smoke detectors, and those with gas or propane/oil heat should also hace CO detectors.
