My fiance and I are wanting to terminate our lease agreement concerning our apartment. A person that works for our landlord told a neighbor that we called Department of Human Services on them for leaving her children at home with no supervision while she was at work. Also, our car window was broken on the premises by a tenant and we are now unhappy with the place where we live currently. The landlord will not let us terminet our lease. How could we go about either getting out of our lease legally or possibly suing our landlord??? Thank you.

That does not seem a reason for breaking the lease unfortunately...but if you do break it you could try to find others to take it so she has no damages and cannot try to sue...
