So confused!
I am in need of some advice. I took a job with my son and daughter-in-law (first mistake, I know!) They leased a home for me, in their name. They have deducted the rent from my paychecks. I am not late, or behind on rent payments. I was fired, via letter, on Nov. 22, 2006. The letter stated that I needed to vacate the home by Nov. 30, 2006. My first question would be if this is legal. If it is, should there be a reasonable amount of time for me to leave the residence. 8 days, with Thanksgiving being one of them, does not seem like a reasonable amount of time to locate a new residence and move. Thanks for your help.

Try to reach an agreement with them; they have to evict you if you will not leave and that will take some time and hassle in the courts, so they should be willing to agree some reasonable exit date
