Question LEGAL RIGHT ?

I HAVE A YEAR LEASE , (RENTING A HOUSE ) WHICH EXPIRES THE END OF THE MONTH, THE PROPERTY I AM MOVING TOO IS NOT AVAILABLE TILL 2 DAYS AFTER THE CURRENT LEASE EXPIRES.
IF I FAIL TO VACATE TILL THE 2 DAYS AFTER CAN I BE PROSECUTED FOR ANYTHING ????????????

Default Re: LEGAL RIGHT ?

They can force you to pay for those two days plus a minor holdover penalty--but check your lease it may require you to pay for a full month if you do that.

...best to come to some agreement if you can
