A few weeks ago I found green fuzzy stuff growing on my shoes, address book, rolling pin, and camera bag. When I informed the LL she demanded I move out Immediately without inspecting the unit. She states she wants me to move to protect my health and so they could tear down walls. The problem is I live in a small rural community with two large dogs. It was exceedingly difficult to find this place due to small inventory. I have been looking but there is no place to go except to an expensive hotel. I will have to board my dogs. What are my rights? Can I request she pay for hotel costs and dog boarding until I find another place to live?

Yes, you can request that she pay for your accommodations and that of your pets. When a unit becomes unusable, demolition or major repairs need to be done -- through no fault of the tenant, it is customary for the owner to put the tenant up in reasonable accommodations. If this was mold that was growing on your belongings, you may also be entitled to have them replaced. |

According to my point of view, i believe and also the situation demands that you are not responsible for the problem growing in the house and your Landlord request to to leave the house , It means the she also know that house is having a problem . So i believe that you may ask Landlady to pay for the bills of the hotel unless you find a suitable place to live . you must also try to find a better place and pay off all the bills .
