HELP: shared occupancy
I am an Ontario tenant living in a house with many others. Leases have been signed, but now one of the other tenants wishes to add his girlfriend to his room, splitting the rent between them. Other tenants have issues with this idea. What is legal? I can't seem to find any information on this situation. If the landlord grants us permission to add another person, do we define the terms of that agreement? Can we ask them to pay more?
Please help! |

The landord and other tenants each have to agree or normally she cannot be added.
