New York landlord liability if a tenant were to commit a crime
Hypothetically, if a tenant were to commit a crime within his apartment that the landlord knew nothing about but the landlord had the right to enter the apartment at any time to do repairs, would that landlord be liable for any of the crimes that the tenant were committing? I am trying to find any cases on this in the state of new york but I am unable to find any. Thanks for helping out!
