Hello,
I am on vacation in Florida and I received a 5 day pay rent evict notice at my house (my cousin is watching house and called) problem is that I paid rent with cashier checks from bank and have stubs to prove it. My landlord is saying they never got them but the bank is saying they cashed at least one with their endorsement on it...I told them that and that the bank wants to get their name on a signature card to authorize but the landlord said he ewas too busy. He is also including 20 dollar a day late fees on the five day pauy or else which I understand is improper procedure as well. What happens after 5 days..do i have to be gone? can i defend myself in court? I am out of town until the 6th day and they know that and I dfeel like I am being sabotaged...I am worried about my stuff...shat are my right help!!!!!! Tam |

You can go to court and explain; he will not get to court before you return.
